3rd Annual 4-H Color Me Green Glow 5K/1K Run/Walk on May 5, 2017

University of California 4-H Youth Development Program, El Dorado County is hosting their 3rd Annual Color Me Green Glow 5K/1K Run/Walk on May 5th registration at 7:00 P.M., race at 8:00 P.M. Run in the evening with family, friends and other community members, while improving your health.

Date: Friday, May 5th, 2017

Location: Union Mine High School Campus, Placerville

Time: 7:00 P.M. registration with race starting at 8:00 P.M.

Cost: $25 before April 21st and after $30

This will not be a timed run. The proceeds from the Color Me Green 5K run/walk will benefit members of the 4-H Youth Development Program, El Dorado.

The California 4-H program is a part of the University of California Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources (UC ANR), a statewide network of the University of California. UC ANR researchers and educators are dedicated to the creation, development and application of knowledge in agricultural, natural and human resources.

Led by research-driven programming from UC ANR, 4-H is a youth development organization for youth ages 5-19 that promotes hands-on, experiential learning. Youth members and adult volunteers from all backgrounds and locations in California are welcome. Members have the opportunity to participate in the 4-H Program through afterschool programs, community clubs, camps, events, conferences, and military partnership programs
