Camino Community Action Committee (CCAC) is a small and hardworking group that sponsors events to improve our community.

CCAC works to keep our community safe and clean by:
- Holding a free annual Camino Clean-Up Day each May.
- Hosting the annual National Night Out community gathering on the first Tuesday in August and providing free hot dogs and s'mores for all.
- Requesting/receiving "Share the Road" signs from El Dorado County.

CCAC helps the needy in our community by:
- Holding "Camino Serves" nights at the Forester Restaurant, with proceeds funding people and programs with needs.
- Organizing the Christmas "Camino Gives" project that provides needed warm clothing and blankets for local families.
- Helping severely ill local residents with medical expenses.

CCAC helps Camino School by:
- Giving "scholarships" to Camino students who need monetary help to attend school field trips.
- Providing "scholarships" for Camino students who cannot afford student pictures or yearbooks.
- Providing funding for supplies and staffing for the Camino School Garden.
- Providing an annual Teacher Appreciation Luncheon each May.
- Obtaining volunteer help and funding to resurface the Camino School track in 2012.
