ALERT - VICTIM OF LAST MONTHS STABBING RETALIATES AND STABS HIS ATTACKER

UPDATE: "Placerville police arrested a man Sunday they believe was retaliating against his victim, who allegedly stabbed him a month ago. Christopher Weise was arrested on suspicion of stabbing Ruben Archuleta at the corner of Main and Sacramento streets."

Placerville, CA – Placerville Police are looking for Christopher Weise after he allegedly stabbed Ruben Archuleta.

On June 17, 2018 at 9:40 a.m., the Placerville Police Department received a call of a stabbing that just occurred at the corner of Main Street and Sacramento Street. Officers responded to the scene and found Ruben Archuleta with a stab wound to the back.

The victim told officers that he felt like he was punched in the back and when he turned around he saw Christopher Weise standing behind him with an object in his hand. Weise quickly walked away from the scene, prior to officers’ arrival. Archuleta was transported to the hospital for the stab wound.

Officers gathered witness statements and actively searched for Weise but were unable to locate him. He was still outstanding at the time of the press release. Weiss is described as a 45 year old white male, 5’9”, approximately 180 pounds, short brown hair, last seen wearing a blue jeans and a blue tank top.
On May 18, 2018, Archuleta was arrested after he allegedly stabbed Weise on Main Street. Archuleta is currently out of custody on pre-trial supervision awaiting trial.

Weise is currently wanted for Assault with a Deadly Weapon- Penal Code Section 245(a)(1). The Placerville Police Department is requesting anyone with information on this case to contact the police department at (530)642-5280.
