Bert Nobell, Feb. 20, 1936 – April 26, 2018

The man, the myth, the legend has died. Bert Nobell was born on February 20, 1936 in New Brunswick, N.J. and he died on a beautiful spring day on April 26, 2018. The birth and death of this great man are not as relevant as the days he lived to the fullest. His life was an adventure. He did not follow conventional thinking and he was the true embodiment of thinking outside of the box. He was positive, honest, stubborn and kind. He was a great friend, father and grandfather and he truly lived as an example of how to live each day to the fullest.

The majority of his life was spent in the Lotus and Coloma area, which he loved. He retired from construction only to continue with construction projects that were enjoyable to him. He loved the B words — building, birds, beer and his dog Brandy.

Left behind to carry on his legacy are his two children Lori and Bert, two grandchildren Amy and Sonny, and three great-grandchildren Bailey, Elora and Ainsley.

He didn’t want a funeral or memorial service. Instead his family will be hosting a barbecue to celebrate life, which will take place at a later date.
