Cleve Morris, City Manager (Placerville, CA) – The City of Placerville has declared a local state of emergency due to damage to local infrastructure from the recent weather events. In accordance with City Code, the City Manager declared the emergency after surveying current damages to local infrastructure, reviewing reported information from City staff, and considering the potential for additional damage. El Dorado County Declares a Local State of Emergency Due to Damage to Local Infrastructure from the Recent Weather Events

Placerville, CA – El Dorado County has declared a local state of emergency due to damage to local infrastructure from the recent weather events. The El Dorado County Board of Supervisors at its meeting on January 10, 2016, in unanimous vote, declared the emergency after getting a report on damage to local infrastructure by County staff. The Cosumnes Mine Road Bridge Is Closed

DOT| (Placerville, CA) – The Transportation Division of El Dorado County’s Community Development Agency has closed the Cosumnes Mine Road bridge as it crosses the North Fork of the Cosumnes River in El Dorado County. 

Water has washed away the soil from under the north bridge approach making it no longer safe to cross. The bridge will be closed until the water recedes enough to allow County staff to assess the full damage to the bridge and its approach.
