After just three months on the job, Lake Tahoe South Shore Chamber of Commerce's CEO Craig Schmidt has resigned.

"We accepted Craig's resignation May 16," said Chamber Board Chair Jason Drew in a press release sent out May 19. "It was an amicable parting and we wish Craig every success in his future endeavors."

Placerville, CA – Placerville Police arrest 20 year old, Clayton Christensen, for child molestation. On May 17th, 2017, Placerville Police Officers responded to a report of a possible child molest case that had occurred earlier in May of 2017. Officers took a report from a 13 year old, reporting that she met Clayton Christensen in early May and he began messaging her through Facebook. The victim reported that Christensen had sexual intercourse with her after he arranged to meet her after school.
