The Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office charged Rodney Brown, 62, of Camino, with eight felonies, including the abuse of girls who were younger than 14 at the time of the alleged assaults, prosecutors said in a release Tuesday.

Two of the alleged assaults happened in El Dorado County in 1995.

One of the victims lives in Contra Costa County, where the case is being investigated.

Brown, who pleaded not guilty to all charges, is in custody at the Martinez Detention Facility. His bail was set at $8.8 million.
