by Placerville Newswire / Sep 19, 2016 / comments

The El Dorado County Republican Central Committee and El Dorado County Unit of the California Republican Assembly, have united and opened their 2016 Election Campaign Headquarters, at 680 Placerville Drive, Suite C, in Placerville, just up the road from Home Depot. The office is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 am to 6 pm, unless otherwise posted.

This is one of the most important elections that most of us have experienced in our recent life times. Voter registration is one of the main priorities for the Headquarters. All Party affiliations or No Party preference are welcome to register. If you have changed your address or name, you must re-register. Sample or absentee ballots will not be forwarded. If someone in your family turns 18 years of age, between now and November 8th, they may register now and will be able to vote in their first election.

Tuesday, September 27th, we celebrate Voter Registration Day. The Republican Headquarters offers the perfect opportunity for young people and others to view the behind the scenes activities that occur for our American Political and Voting Process.

Information is available about the State initiatives, Republican candidates, from Presidential, Congressional, State & County races, to city council, water districts and school districts.

This is also the County Headquarters for the Trump-Pence campaign and Congressman Tom McClintock. Campaign collateral is available for both.

There is also a Trump-Pence campaign headquarters located at 960 Emerald Bay Road, South Lake Tahoe. The phone number is 530-721-3497.

For information or questions, please call El Dorado County Headquarters campaign manager, Terry Gherardi, at 530-368-4815.  The phone number for the El Dorado County Registrar of Voters, is 530-621-7480, if you wish to verify you are registered to vote on November 8th.
