El Dorado Transit has partnered with First 5 El Dorado, the Cameron Park Library and the El Dorado Hills Library to promote the NEW Community Hubs Program, to encourage members of the community to obtain their library cards, and to promote the new Bus Route 70 which serves both the Cameron Park Library and the El Dorado Hills Library. In the month of October, anyone who shows their El Dorado County Library card on the new El Dorado Transit Bus Route 70 will ride for free during the month of October 2017.
Community Hubs bring prevention and early intervention services for expectant parents and families with children ages 0-18 years to libraries and schools in the County.  Activities include story times, parent workshops and support groups, access to health care services such as doctors, dentist, insurance and getting appointments.  Families can make appointments with Hub Team members who can address individual questions, issues and concerns or connect them with the right community partner.
The Cameron Park Library and El Dorado Hills Library are Community Hubs. Community members are encouraged to participate in the Hubs program and to sign up for a Library Card that will help them gain access to the many available resources that are provided.
The new El Dorado Transit Route 70 provides service to portions of Cameron Park and El Dorado Hills. The service runs every hour from 6:20 am to 7:15 pm Monday through Friday. Connections are available to Route 40 at the Cameron Park Dr. and Green Valley Rd. transfer stop, and to the 50 Express Route at the El Dorado Hills Park and Ride and the Cambridge Rd. Park and Ride. In addition to the Cameron Park Library and El Dorado Hills Library, Route 70 provides service to the Raley’s shopping center, Town Center, the Cameron Park CSD and Cameron Park Lake.
