GEORGETOWN, Calif. (KCRA) —Law enforcement officials are looking for an inmate who walked away from a conservation camp in El Dorado County.

Deandrea J. Farlow was last seen about 8:45 p.m. Sunday in his assigned dorm at Growlersburg Conservation Camp in Georgetown.

During an inmate count nearly two hours later, staff could not find Farlow and began implementing escape procedures, according to the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.

Farlow was serving time for second-degree robbery  and assault with a firearm in Fresno County and was scheduled to be released in October 2019, officials said.

He is described as 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 195 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair, officers said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Growlersburg Conservation Camp Commander at 530-333-4244.
