Chronic Marijuana Use Linked To Rare Vomiting Illness in Locals

SACRAMENTO – Local doctors are seeing an uptick in a rare illness caused by chronic marijuana use. Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome (CHS) causes people to become violently ill, and they’re starting to fill up emergency rooms across the area.

For many, pot is therapeutic — a form of pain management.

But, doctors say too much of it is actually making pot smokers sick.

“They’re a wreck,” said UC Davis ER doctor Nick Sawyer.

PLACERVILLE, CA – El Dorado County is holding a day of public meetings at the County Administrative Offices to gather input for broadband planning and improvement on Wednesday, January 17th. The County is working with consulting firm NEO Connect to conduct a Broadband Feasibility Study to evaluate current broadband resources and identify options for improving connectivity and expanding broadband across the County.

So recently our local town newspaper, the Mountain Democrat published a very racist one-sided opinion piece and that same week one of my very close friends and co--workers was attacked by some asshole with racial slurs. Our progressive group organized protests at the paper’s offices.
