Hey there, neighbors..... I received this notice in the mail yesterday. It states that our illustrious Board of Supervisors think we have more than enough money in this county and shouldn’t mind if they tax us SOME MORE to pay to remodel the CEMETERIES around here. I don’t know about you, but I’m doing all I can to keep PG&E and the insurance companies in business, let alone put gas in my car. Be aware that if you object to this hijacking of your hard earned money, you must either object in writing or show up for their meeting in November. I live in District 2, which is Pleasant Valley. “My” supervisor is Shiva Frentzen 621-5651 bostwo@edcgov.us. I will be contacting her directly with my thoughts!

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The El Dorado County Board of Supervisors hereby notices a public hearing pursuant to Government Code Section 25217 to conduct proceedings to form the Western Slope Cemetery Zone of Benefit within County Service Area 9. These services shall be financed through a special tax (e.g. parcel tax) pursuant to section 25215.2 of the Government Code.

The hearing will be held at the meeting place of the Board of Supervisors, 330 Fair Lane, , Placerville, California at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, at which time the Board will hear objections and protests to the formation of the Western Slope Cemetery Zone of Benefit. In order to be considered, written objections to the formation of the zone must be received no later than the close of public testimony portion of the public hearing.
