Opinion - What Political Organization has infiltrated the NFL?

Football has been a big part of my life as a player and coach.  For 27 years, over 40% of my life, I have been in the football arena.  It is hard for me to understand how the NFL has allowed this great game to become corrupted and politicized.

Individual or team sports is about competing against others in an effort to win a contest.  Sports use to be simple, fun, and entertaining to watch.  Now, the NFL has provided an opportunity for football athletes to wield their influence over our culture and our politics.

There is a political organization that has a mission to divide, create chaos and destroy our American heritage as founded and outlined in the U. S. Constitution.  Over the last decade our country has continued to become more divided.  What a great stage we Americans have created in the NFL for this political organization to use in their quest to destroy our country.

These young players are being used and they don’t even know it. They are now saying their protest isn’t about the flag or our National Anthem.  This cannot be true if they are picking that moment in time to protest.  Shame on the NFL for allowing this situation to get to this point.  Last year it was about Black Lives Matter.  Now, the players protesting want us to believe it is about equality, fairness and unity.  The political organization behind all this has got to be loving it.  With just a few players at first, the NFL has allowed this cancer to grow and divide teammates, coaches, owners and the fans.  Any disrespect of our flag or country, should not be tolerated.

These protests are being orchestrated to drive an Anti-American political agenda.  I hope the NFL quickly learns that politics needs to be kept off of the Gridiron.  We the people need to make sure the NFL is taught this lesson.  All American Patriots need to unify in order to defeat this Anti-American agenda.  Please do not attend or watch any NFL games.  These millionaire athletes and billionaire owners need to get a strong powerful message that will resonate loud and clear to all football teams at all levels (college, high school and youth football).

I know that all spectators of the NFL are not true American Patriots, but our veterans deserve respect.  There is an email circulating to boycott the NFL on Veterans Day Weekend (Sunday, November 12th).  In honor of our military, let these teams play to empty stadiums.  There are plenty of ways, times and places to protest concerning ones chosen cause, but not at a football game, or at any time set aside to honor our nation’s flag and the bravery and lives of our nation’s military heroes. This is inappropriate and disrespectful!

Please help spread the word to all of your contacts.
