Wendy Thomas writes:

"The COMMUNITY CLEAN UP DAY on Saturday was a huge success! Many thanks to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints who selected the City for their service project, the entire staff at our Rec and Park's department who coordinated all the projects, and all of YOU for volunteering your time to beautify and enhance Placerville! What 425 people got accomplished in one day was incredible!

I haven't seen all the finished projects, but I was at City Park with a bunch of new friends. Stop by and see the new fence, painted benches and tables, refreshed landscaping and all the improvements at the Tot Lot. And all our parks have similar updates! What a difference a day can make! What a difference a community can make when it comes together.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

Jackie Neau adds, "It was a fun day! I really enjoyed working with new friends too!"
