Engine Fire Overtakes CHP Vehicle

This morning, one of our officers was on patrol on Bass Lake Rd south of Green Valley Rd when he pulled over to investigate a strange smell coming from the engine compartment. He exited the vehicle and immediately noticed flames coming from the engine compartment. The fire quickly overtook most of the vehicle before fire personnel could put it out.

Additional Victims sought in El Dorado Hills Lewd Conduct

On Sunday, June 16, Jason Rowe was observed at Target in El Dorado Hills engaging in lewd conduct in front of a victim. 

Jason is 43 years old, 6'04",190 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a dark t-shirt, light colored pants and dark tennis shoes with a white and dark gray baseball hat. 

Jason is currently in custody, however, the Sheriff's Office has reason to believe that he has been lingering in this area and possibly other nearby shopping centers.
