Everyone is encouraged to attend the State of Jefferson's (SOJ), second candidates forum, on Tuesday, May 8th, at the American Legion Hall, 4561 Greenstone Road, in Placerville. The SOJ Committee is pleased to have Secretary of State candidate, Mark Meuser, who will bring a real change in Sacramento, attacking voter fraud and restoring the people's confidence in open, secure, and fair elections.

County candidates, include those seeking the positions of District Attorney, County Auditor-Controller, County Recorder Clerk and at least one or two running for District IV County Supervisor. The third candidate spoke at the April forum.  Doors open at 5:30 for social hour and to enjoy a hot dog, chips, desserts and beverages. The meeting and forum begins at 6:30 pm, and may last a little longer, due to the number of candidates, while also allowing the audience time to ask questions.

The SOJ El Dorado County Committee would like to remind everyone, the importance of being an informed voter. Absentee ballots and voter guides, are expected to arrive in your mail box, the second week in May.
