Shingle Springs Rancheria buys undeveloped land for "future generations"

The tribe that owns Red Hawk Casino has bought some undeveloped land north of its rancheria for future generations.

The Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians bought 35.9 acres in the spring from a private party for $1.2 million, according to property title records.
