South Lake Tahoe cannabis co-op cannot sell for recreational use

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. (News 4 & Fox 11) — A South Lake Tahoe medical cannabis cooperative is at the center of controversy due to new laws regarding recreational marijuana sales in California.

City officials say Tahoe Wellness Cooperative applied for a commercial sales license, but the application was denied because the co-op currently operates under a court order, not a city permit.
