Residents of the Sierra Nevada and surrounding communities have long cultivated world-class skiing and snowboarding talent. This Olympic cycle is no exception: eight athletes with direct ties to Tahoe and Truckee<\/strong> have secured places on Team USA\u2019s 232-member roster, marking a point of regional pride for local sports fans.<\/p>\n
