A new nonprofit rooted in El Dorado County is aiming to change the local economic landscape from the ground up. Our EGG \u2014 short for Economic Generator & Germination \u2014 was launched by lifelong residents Lexi Boeger<\/a> and Lauren Hernandez with a mission to empower rural communities through collaborative development, policy engagement, and funding partnerships.<\/p>\n

Operating under the El Dorado Community Foundation as a 501(c)(3) fund (Tax ID: 68-0255556), the organization positions itself as a “people-led regenerative local economy”<\/strong> initiative. Its programs prioritize inclusive economic building, leadership development, and public-private investment in rural projects. According to its founders, Our EGG is designed to<\/p>\n

\u201cdevelop and catalyze projects toward implementation readiness,\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
