PLACERVILLE \u2014 The Boys & Girls Club of El Dorado County \u2014 Western Slope announced Monday that last Friday\u2019s Tee It Up for the Kids<\/strong> golf tournament raised $200,000<\/strong> toward The Landing<\/em>, a planned 40-acre sports, recreation and teen-center project intended to expand youth services on the western slope. The club says it plans to break ground in early 2026.<\/p>\n

The Landing<\/a> is conceived as a public-private sports complex and youth campus near Placerville that the Boys & Girls Club and community partners hope will provide expanded athletics, mentorship and teen programming for local children. The organization\u2019s project page describes the effort as an investment opportunity to build capacity and serve more young people across El Dorado County\u2019s western slope.<\/p>\n
