Cold Springs, Calif. \u2014 Reports are circulating of a serious motorcycle crash occurring around 11 a.m. today on Cold Springs Road\u00a0 in El Dorado County. According to comments posted on a local community Facebook page, the rider \u2014 seen on a blue Yamaha motorcycle \u2014 was found with two broken legs and what appeared to be a collapsed left lung. One commenter wrote,<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI heard from a girl that was first on scene\u2026 he had a pulse and shallow breathing but alive.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
Another noted,<\/p>\n
\n\u201cas I was blocked in I was saying a lot of prayers while they were working on him.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
However, no official press release has yet been issued by the California Highway Patrol or the El Dorado County Sheriff\u2019s Office confirming the time, location, rider\u2019s identity or condition of the crash. Authorities did respond to previous motorcycle incidents on the same roadway earlier this year \u2014 a 42-year-old man died in a solo crash in April. The sheriff\u2019s department is urging anyone with information about today\u2019s crash to contact dispatch.<\/p>\n
