By early Tuesday, a stronger system moves in, bringing widespread rain, falling temperatures, and the potential for afternoon thunderstorms.<\/p>\n

Forecasters say Tuesday will mark the sharpest shift, with temperatures dropping to the low 50s by morning and precipitation chances climbing to 90 percent. Periods of steady rain are expected throughout the day, with embedded thunderstorms capable of producing brief heavier downpours.<\/p>\n
