The warning comes in the wake of a devastating boating tragedy on Lake Tahoe that left eight people dead after a sudden storm capsized a vessel near D.L. Bliss State Park on June 21, 2025.<\/p>\n
According to sheriff\u2019s investigators, boat operator Joshua Pickles<\/em> and several others aboard the vessel reportedly stopped at the popular South Lake Tahoe restaurant Riva Grill before launching onto the lake.
