Ralphs sentenced <a href=\"http:\/\/inedc.com\/24\/crime\/edc-arrests-and-activity-on-oct-22-2024\/\"><strong data-start=\"1251\" data-end=\"1269\">Edward Alvarez<\/strong><\/a> on June 5 to <strong data-start=\"1283\" data-end=\"1330\">seven years and four months in state prison<\/strong> following his convictions for felony vehicle theft and driving on a suspended license, the District Attorney&#8217;s Office announced in a June 11 social media post.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1492\" data-end=\"1786\">Prosecutors said evidence presented during the trial showed Alvarez stole a motorcycle from the Red Hawk Casino parking structure. According to the District Attorney&#8217;s Office, Alvarez later rode the motorcycle into the casino&#8217;s valet area and attempted to sell it to a valet attendant for $250.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1788\" data-end=\"1927\">&#8220;The victim had not authorized anyone to use the motorcycle,&#8221; the District Attorney&#8217;s Office said in its statement announcing the sentence.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1929\" data-end=\"2209\">The jury previously found Alvarez guilty of felony vehicle theft and driving on a suspended license.
