A major narcotics case on Eloise Avenue resulted in the arrest of Daniel Jerimy Evans on multiple felony allegations involving possession and sales of controlled substances, carrying total bail exceeding $800,000. Danette Marrie Mraz was booked on two misdemeanor probation violation allegations following an arrest on Broadway. Placerville police arrested Luke Cassidy Tappan on a felony allegation of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse, cohabitant or dating partner. At the Main Street Courthouse, John Ray Hedrick was booked on a misdemeanor battery allegation. Drug crimes, probation violations and violence-related allegations dominated activity in the county seat. Several of the arrests involved defendants already under court supervision. John Laturner was arrested on Emerald Bay Road on a misdemeanor DUI alcohol allegation. Ivan Dejesus Garciacruz was booked on a felony domestic violence allegation involving corporal injury. Travis James Whittle was arrested in the Heavenly Village area on allegations of disorderly conduct while intoxicated and violating probation. The South Shore produced the largest concentration of arrests in the latest booking period. Alcohol, narcotics and probation-related cases remained recurring themes.
