Established in <strong data-start=\"247\" data-end=\"255\">1913<\/strong>, this pioneering road stretched from <strong data-start=\"293\" data-end=\"359\">Times Square in New York City to Lincoln Park in San Francisco<\/strong>, offering motorists a cross-country route long before the modern freeway system.
