PLACERVILLE, Calif. (May 17, 2025) \u2014 After a decade of serving fresh brews and baked goods to the El Dorado County community, Love Birds Coffee is officially closing its doors today. Owners Garrett and Jasmin, who built the business as a labor of love, made the announcement in a heartfelt farewell shared with patrons.<\/p>\n
\u201cSometimes dreams run their course and come to an end, and that\u2019s okay too,\u201d they wrote. \u201cWe\u2019re grateful to have made it this far, grateful to have had you along for the ride, and of course, we\u2019re looking forward to the next adventure.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
The closure comes as Garrett returns to a previous career in finance, accepting a position with Principal Financial Group as a financial advisor. Jasmin will step away from full-time baking to focus on homeschooling their three children and spending more time with family.<\/p>\n
Love Birds Coffee had become a cherished local fixture over the past 10 years, earning a reputation for its welcoming atmosphere, scratch-made pastries, and commitment to community.<\/p>\n
Regulars and supporters are encouraged to stop by the caf\u00e9 today to say goodbye to the Love Birds staff and offer their well wishes on the family\u2019s next chapter.<\/p>\n
