El Dorado Hills, CA (March 8, 2025) – The Posh Bagel, a California-based bagel chain, is set to broaden its presence in the greater Sacramento area by opening two new locations in El Dorado Hills. The company has recently secured leases for spaces in the El Dorado Hills Town Center and the Sienna Ridge Shopping Center, with both sites expected to commence operations by the end of 2025.
The first location will be situated at 4380 Town Center Blvd., Suite 130, occupying approximately 1,450 square feet. Positioned adjacent to establishments like CycleLife and Lindora, and in proximity to Target, this outlet is anticipated to open within six months, contingent upon the completion of necessary permits and interior construction.
The second venue will be located in a 1,500-square-foot end space on a retail pad near the Safeway gas station within the Sienna Ridge Shopping Center. Development of this pad is slated for completion in the summer, with the Posh Bagel aiming to launch this branch by late 2025.
Jeffrey Ottoveggio, founder of The Posh Bagel, expressed optimism about the expansion, stating, “Our goal is to have 10 stores in the Sacramento area in the next two years.” He further highlighted the company’s resilience post-pandemic, noting that all existing stores are performing well.
Established in Los Altos in 1992, The Posh Bagel has grown to encompass 25 locations across California. The chain offers a diverse menu featuring breakfast sandwiches, specialty sandwiches, traditional bagels with various cream cheese spreads, pastries, smoothies, coffee, and bubble teas.
In 2020, the company relocated its headquarters and wholesale bakery to Sacramento, facilitating its expansion in the region. This move has enabled The Posh Bagel to efficiently serve its existing outlets in Roseville, Davis, and Folsom, while also laying the groundwork for further growth.
The upcoming El Dorado Hills locations are part of a broader strategy to establish a stronger foothold in the Sacramento area, with additional sites under consideration in Elk Grove, Granite Bay, Fair Oaks, and Natomas.
