The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office recorded a broad range of incidents Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2026, including grand theft reports in South Lake Tahoe and Placerville, a burglary report in Cameron Park and a battery investigation in Diamond Springs. One arrest was recorded in connection with an ordinance violation at an outpatient facility on Pleasant Valley Road in Diamond Springs. Deputies also handled an identity theft report, court order violation calls, trespassing complaints and numerous reports of suspicious circumstances across the county. A search-and-rescue call in South Lake Tahoe late Wednesday night resulted in assistance, while several other suspicious-activity calls were cleared or handled without further action indicated in the log.
