PLACERVILLE, Calif. \u2014 Mother Lode Rehabilitation Enterprises Inc. (MORE) is recognizing El Dorado County Superintendent of Schools Ed Manansala for nearly a decade of service as a member of its Board of Directors, highlighting his longstanding commitment to expanding opportunities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout El Dorado County.<\/p>\n
The recognition, featured in MORE’s latest Board Member Spotlight, celebrates Manansala’s years of volunteer leadership and his contributions both before and after joining the organization’s governing board.<\/p>\n
According to MORE, Manansala first became involved through community partnerships and fundraising efforts long before accepting a board position. One of those early contributions came through his Leadership El Dorado class, which organized a fundraising campaign that helped establish and improve MORE’s computer room, providing clients with greater access to technology and workforce development resources.<\/p>\n
As El Dorado County Superintendent of Schools, Manansala has brought experience in educational leadership, strategic planning and community advocacy to the nonprofit’s board, helping guide its mission while strengthening connections between local education, employers and community organizations.<\/p>\n
