SOUTH LAKE TAHOE / BASIN AREA

Police Blotter Summary (8 sentences)
South Lake Tahoe officers booked Jacob Don Williams after a midnight scuffle on Lake Tahoe Boulevard that ended with a battery on a peace officer and a stack of probation violations. Investigators also tagged Williams with shoplifting, keeping him locked up on $7,500 bail. Later in the afternoon, deputies arrested Jose De Jesus Medinagonzalez on the Rubicon Trail after a disorderly conduct call unraveled into a felony mess. Authorities say Medinagonzalez was intoxicated and allegedly trying to bring drugs or alcohol into a jail facility. Records show a felony petty theft count tied to prior convictions was added. Bail enhancements pushed the total to $80,000. Both suspects remain in custody. The day closed with Tahoe-area officers busy and cells filling fast.

WESTERN SLOPE / COUNTY & TRANSFER JAILS

Sacramento County Jail • Amador County Jail

Deputies took custody of Steven Lee Spencer at Amador County Jail on charges including domestic battery and resisting an officer, drawing a stiff $103,000 bail. In Sacramento County Jail, Steve Frederick Stewart landed behind bars on multiple felony drug trafficking counts involving transport and possession for sale. Stewart’s bail climbed to $300,000, marking one of the day’s heaviest hits. Russell Armand Helton was also held at Sacramento County Jail on a felony narcotics charge with prior convictions, no bail allowed. James Albert Hernandez followed, booked on narcotics possession and a felony probation violation. Jail transfers kept Western Slope deputies moving paper and prisoners all day. None of the suspects were released. The drug pipeline case load continued to stack up.

CENTRAL COUNTY / PONY EXPRESS CORRIDOR

Pony Express Rail • Miled Lane Police Blotter
Rhiannon Michelle Parker was arrested on Pony Express Rail after deputies recovered a stolen vehicle and connected her to additional theft and drug use charges. Bail was set at $50,000. Investigators listed felony vehicle theft as the top count. Nearby, deputies arrested William Bradford Cantrell on Miled Lane for indecent exposure. Bail was set at $5,000. Both suspects were booked without incident. No injuries were reported. Property crime and quality-of-life calls rounded out the morning. Deputies logged the arrests and moved on.

ARRESTS

Think step-by-step before providing the answer.
I want you to act as a veteran crime editor writing for an old-school city paper. Your tone should blend gritty police blotter brevity with the narrative edge of a classic crime reporter. “think step-by-step” before providing the final answer. Based on the following arrests, do the following: first arrange by local area 1: Write a 8-sentence summary in a police-blotter style—just the facts, terse and direct; 2: Then create an SEO-friendly Title; Subtitle; Focus Keyphrase; Meta Description (max 160 characters); and a 1-sentence Excerpt; 3: Format a short social media post for Facebook to drive traffic to the full article; 4: Make it sound like it came from a 1970s crime desk—hard-boiled, clipped, and unflinching. Grittier like a “police blotter” you might see in an old-school paper; 5: “Spotlight” sections with short “charge blurbs” — one-line summaries written like punchy 1970s crime headlines (“Dope Bust on Dunlap,” “Hot Wheels on Main Street”)? It would give it that gritty tabloid punch while keeping the facts intact. 6: add a “Most Serious Arrests Spotlight” section. My first content request is:
