(INEDC) EDSO Sheriff ARRESTS Blotter EL DORADO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Feb 14 2026

MOST SERIOUS ARRESTS SPOTLIGHT

  • Red Hawk Parkway Enhancement Case — Felony property charge with enhancement, $275,000 bail.

  • Missouri Flat Felony Auto Theft With Priors — Repeat vehicle theft plus drug possession, $52,000 bail.

  • Julie Lane Hit-and-Run Injury Case — Crash-and-flee allegation paired with felony probation violation.

  • Ski Resort Officer Battery — Alcohol-fueled incident adds resisting and battery on peace officer.

PLACERVILLE AREA

Placerville units and city officers kept the booking desk warm with probation and theft cases clustered around Broadway Drive and Missouri Flat Road. Just after midnight, a suspect was picked up on Broadway Drive on a felony probation violation hold. Late evening, two more collars dropped at the Missouri Flat Road corridor, both tied to probation and vehicle theft investigations. One of those stops added a prior-based felony vehicle theft count and a narcotics possession rap, with bail stacked to $52,000. All three Placerville-area arrests resulted in in-custody bookings. Charges lean heavy on supervision violations and auto theft behavior. Locations point to commercial-strip enforcement. Paper shows no cite-and-release breaks here. The night shift booked them straight through.

Spotlight —  (Placerville)

  • Broadway Probation Grab — Felony violation, no bail posted.

  • Missouri Flat Double Collar — Two suspects, probation holds.

  • Hot Ride With Priors — Felony auto theft plus drug possession count.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE AREA

Officers with South Lake Tahoe Police Department logged multiple evening arrests tied to DUI, probation status and a hit-and-run injury case. A traffic stop at James Avenue and 5th Avenue produced DUI charges and a suspended-license count, with bail set at $5,000. Julie Lane generated back-to-back bookings — one suspect held on dual probation violation counts, another on a felony probation violation plus a hit-and-run resulting in injury allegation. All were booked in custody. Charges range from straight DUI to walkaway crash conduct. Probation status is a repeat theme in the Tahoe stack. Bail varied from zero to mid-range. Stops were concentrated in the early evening window. Vehicles and supervision terms drove the paperwork.

Spotlight —  (South Lake Tahoe)

  • James & 5th DUI Stop — Booze over limit, license already suspended.

  • Julie Lane Probation Hit — Double violation booking.

  • Hit-and-Run With Injury Rap — Crash and flee count added to felony hold.

SHINGLE SPRINGS / RED HAWK AREA

Tribal police with Shingle Springs Rancheria Tribal Police made two separate arrests at Red Hawk Parkway tied to vehicle theft and a high-bail felony property case. One suspect was booked for unlawful vehicle taking, misdemeanor level, held without bail listed. Later the same corridor produced the sheet’s highest bail — $275,000 — on a felony lost-property appropriation charge with a major enhancement attached. Both suspects were booked in custody. Same address, separate incidents, hours apart. Vehicle-related crime and property conversion lead the charges. Enhancements drove the bail skyward in the late case. The Red Hawk beat was active after dark. Detectives will sort the rest.

Spotlight —  (Red Hawk / Shingle Springs)

  • Red Hawk Ride Snatch — Vehicle taken without consent.

  • Casino Corridor High Bail — Felony property grab with enhancement kicker.

OUTLYING AREA — SKI RESORT ARREST

A resort-area arrest by Alpine County Sheriff’s Office at Clear Valley Ski Resort put one suspect in cuffs on alcohol disorderly conduct, resisting officers and battery on a peace officer. Bail totaled $10,500 across the counts. Arrest time logged midafternoon. Case includes both obstruction and officer battery allegations. All counts listed as misdemeanors. Booking status shows in custody. Incident flagged as alcohol-driven. Officer-contact escalated to hands-on. Resort patrol turned into a jail trip.
