SOUTH LAKE TAHOE AREA
South Lake Tahoe police logged a string of hard knocks Saturday as deputies hauled in suspects on drugs, domestic violence, and assault charges. Christina Gwendolyn Wedgwood was picked up on Lake Tahoe Boulevard with alleged controlled substances and paraphernalia, with the added weight of a felony charge tied to possession while in custody. Haidley Lulani Gonzalez was arrested on Lake Boulevard after police reported corporal injury in a domestic dispute, bail set at $50,000. Stephanie Michelle Cothern landed in cuffs on Kyburz Avenue after officers alleged both domestic violence and narcotics possession. Kingy Taline Shanahan was booked on Bal Bijou Road for alleged domestic battery. Aaron R. Piche was taken in on Berkeley Avenue after investigators reported a violent scuffle that allegedly left a peace officer injured. The felony battery charge pushed his bail past the six-figure mark. By the time the night quieted along the lake, six suspects had been booked and the jail log was heavier by several felonies.

WEST SLOPE / PLACERVILLE REGION
On the county’s west slope, deputies spent the day chasing probation violators, drug users, and a DUI suspect. Dakota Christopher Williams was arrested on Forebay Road after deputies flagged a felony probation violation and drug paraphernalia possession. Ryan Steven Craviotto was booked on Pleasant Valley Road in one of the day’s most serious cases, facing felony embezzlement, child abuse allegations, and violation of a domestic violence court order. Bail stacked high at $150,000. Crystal Dawn Eldreth was taken into custody in Rescue after deputies reported suspected narcotics possession and drug use. Roland Alexander Tiemann IV was also arrested at the same Bass Lake Road location on similar narcotics charges. Titus Tancinco Tabotabo was pulled over near Hillcrest and Silverfest and booked on DUI and driving without a license. By nightfall the west slope log carried a mix of drugs, booze, and a heavy felony case.

HIGHWAY & CASINO DISTRICT
Two late-night arrests added to the weekend tally on the highway and casino corridor. Kevin Isaias Mejiacruz was pulled over along U.S. Highway 50 near Takela in the early hours and booked on DUI and driving without a license. Officers reported blood-alcohol allegations over the legal limit. At Red Hawk Parkway, Michael Joseph Miglietto Jr. was arrested following a reported domestic battery incident near the casino complex. Bail was set at $7,500. The arrests capped a day that saw traffic enforcement and domestic disturbance calls keep deputies busy across the county. Patrol units moved between the highways, casino district, and rural roads. Alcohol again showed up as a recurring factor in weekend enforcement. By midnight, the jail booking board told the story: a county that never quite sleeps.
