Under the seasoned management of Russell Motorsports Inc., Placerville Speedway has been a beloved fixture in Northern California since 1965. The track, known for its steep banks, distinctive red clay, and fiercely loyal fan base, is just a scenic 40-minute drive from Sacramento.
Key Highlights:
- The season kicks off with a Test and Tune on March 16th, followed by the opening point race on Saturday, March 23rd, featuring Winged 360 Sprint Cars, Limited Late Models, Pure Stocks, and Mini Trucks.
- The annual “Dave Bradway Jr. Memorial” on May 31st and June 1st promises high-octane action with the NARC 410 Sprint Cars and the Sprint Car Challenge Tour in a colossal double-header weekend.
- The Elk Grove Ford Sprint Car Challenge Tour commences its seventh season during the “Spring Fever Frenzy” on March 30th, with a final appearance on July 20th, concluding Western Speedweek.
- The eagerly awaited sixth annual “Nor*Cal Posse Shootout” on Labor Day weekend, August 31st and September 1st, featuring Winged 360 Sprint Cars and High Sierra Industries Wingless Sprints, takes center stage.
- High Limit Racing Winged 410 Sprint Cars make their debut on August 17th with the “49er Gold Rush Classic,” promising a star-studded field and an unforgettable night of racing.
- The fifth edition of the “Hangtown 100” in November features the USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midgets for two exhilarating nights of competition, along with the BCRA Wingless Lightning Sprints.

- Notable events include the “Tribute to Al Hinds” on April 13th, the “Tilford Tribute” on April 20th, and the “Freedom Fireworks” showcase on Thursday, July 4th.
