El Dorado County (May 9, 2024) – In a decisive morning operation, Placerville law enforcement successfully detained Joshua John Bowen, 47, following a proactive stakeout near Mosquito Road and Dimity Lane. Bowen, a resident of Placerville, had been sought under a felony arrest warrant issued by the El Dorado County District Attorney’s Office. The warrant stemmed from an ongoing investigation implicating Bowen in a series of concerning activities of lewd acts with a minor.
