Placerville, CA—The Miss El Dorado County Scholarship Pageant 2024 unfolded with grace and excitement on June 13, 2024, as part of the El Dorado County Fair. This annual event is a platform where young women shine, vying for titles across multiple age divisions: Junior Miss, Miss, and Teen. Through various categories such as panel interviews, fair wear, and formal wear, these young contestants showcased their confidence, style, and poise, all while expressing their unique personalities and talents.

A Night of Glamour and Grace

The competition was fierce yet friendly, with each contestant bringing her best to the stage. The event also included special awards, which added an extra layer of anticipation and excitement. The People’s Choice Award, determined by community votes, saw significant participation, raising over $5,800 to support scholarships for the winners.

Celebrating Excellence and Spirit

The Director’s Choice Award, a highlight of the evening, was presented to Kylie. This accolade is voted on by the staff and honors the contestant who best exemplified the spirit of the pageant. Kylie was recognized for her kindness, dedication, and the positive impact she had on her fellow contestants, making the pageant a memorable experience for all involved.

Community and Camaraderie

In addition to Kylie’s recognition, the coveted Miss Congeniality title, which celebrates supportiveness and encouragement among contestants, also went to Kylie. Her peers acknowledged her unwavering support and camaraderie throughout the competition, underscoring the spirit of friendship and mutual respect that defines the pageant.

People’s Choice and Community Support

Morgan Williamson emerged victorious as the Junior Miss People’s Choice Award winner, having garnered 1,472 votes. The community’s enthusiastic participation in the voting process highlighted the strong local support for the event and its contestants.

The culmination of the evening saw the crowning of new titleholders who will represent El Dorado County with pride and grace. The titles were awarded as follows:

  • Junior Miss El Dorado County 2024: Morgan Williamson
  • Miss Teen El Dorado County 2024: Elanor
  • Miss El Dorado County 2024: Elizabeth
