El Dorado Hills, CA (Jan 17, 2025) — East Ridge Village, a 734-acre master-planned community located south of Highway 50 in El Dorado Hills, is making significant strides in its development. The project, which encompasses approximately 759 lots—including 701 residential lots, 41 landscape lots, 12 roadway lots, 2 recreational park lots, a sewer lift station lot, a water tank lot, and a pump station lot—has commenced infrastructure work as of early 2024.
Initially approved in 2015, East Ridge Village is part of the Valley View Specific Plan, designed to offer a blend of residential and recreational spaces. The El Dorado County Board of Supervisors approved a Development Agreement (DA22-0001) for the project on July 25, 2023, facilitating the advancement of construction activities.
The community is strategically positioned to serve as a transitional land use between the more intensively developed areas around the Highway 50 interchange at Latrobe Road and the surrounding natural landscapes.
As infrastructure development progresses, local residents and stakeholders are encouraged to stay informed and participate in community discussions. The El Dorado Hills Area Planning Advisory Committee provides updates and documentation related to the project, fostering transparency and community engagement.
We invite community members to share their thoughts and comments on the East Ridge Village development. How do you envision this project impacting the El Dorado Hills area? Your insights are valuable to the ongoing conversation about our community’s growth and development.
