Placerville, Calif. (March 20, 2025) — The El Dorado Community Foundation (EDCF) is set to kick off its inaugural “Match Madness” giving campaign, aiming to bolster local nonprofit organizations through community donations. The campaign will run from March 27 to April 7, 2025, offering residents an opportunity to support causes that matter most to them.​

A total of $2,800 in bonus prizes is available, thanks to generous sponsorships. Participating funds include:​

  • Bridging Divides 
  • Drugstore Project​
  • Fulfilling Equitable Educational Trips (F.E.E.T.)​
  • Friends of Seniors​
  • Project Green 
  • Sports Connection​

Donations can be made online during the campaign period, with each contribution increasing the chances of the chosen organization securing additional funds. ​

“Match Madness is our way of empowering the community to come together and support the nonprofits that make El Dorado County a better place,” said a representative from EDCF. “Every donation, no matter the size, has a significant impact.”​
