PLACERVILLE, Calif. (May 17, 2025) — After a decade of serving fresh brews and baked goods to the El Dorado County community, Love Birds Coffee is officially closing its doors today. Owners Garrett and Jasmin, who built the business as a labor of love, made the announcement in a heartfelt farewell shared with patrons.

“Sometimes dreams run their course and come to an end, and that’s okay too,” they wrote. “We’re grateful to have made it this far, grateful to have had you along for the ride, and of course, we’re looking forward to the next adventure.”

The closure comes as Garrett returns to a previous career in finance, accepting a position with Principal Financial Group as a financial advisor. Jasmin will step away from full-time baking to focus on homeschooling their three children and spending more time with family.
