The 2025 El Dorado County Fair is scheduled to take place from Thursday, June 12 to Sunday, June 15 at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds in Placerville, California. The fair offers a diverse range of entertainment and activities for all ages:

  • Live Music: Performances on the Red Hawk Casino & Resort Stage.

  • Carnival Rides: Thrilling rides for both kids and adults.

  • Contests: Including a funnel cake-eating contest and the John M. Studebaker Championship Wheelbarrow Races.

  • Interactive Exhibits: Hands-on experiences and educational displays.

  • Clown College: Fun workshops and performances for children.

  • Free Train Rides: A delightful attraction for families.

  • Mutton Bustin’: A crowd favorite where young riders showcase their skills.

Livestock & Exhibits

Due to ongoing avian flu concerns, there will be no dairy cattle, poultry, or egg entries at this year’s fair. However, other livestock shows and competitions will proceed as planned, with detailed schedules available in the official competition handbook. El Dorado County Fair

  • Ticket Sales: Tickets went on sale starting April 1, 2025.

  • Box Office Hours: Opens June 4, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
