  • Registration Booth: Staff and volunteers will be on hand to register youth for the upcoming 2025–2026 4-H year.

Who Should Attend

Youth aged 5–18 as of December 31, 2025 are invited to join the 4-H program, which empowers young people through hands-on learning, leadership, and community engagement. As one longtime volunteer put it,

“4-H isn’t just about projects — it’s where community and confidence grow side by side.”

Though not a direct quote from this event, it echoes the spirit of the program, which helps youth “learn by doing” and find their passion—whether that’s animals, STEM, cooking, or civic engagement.

El Dorado County 4-H is part of the UC Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources, offering youth a rich mix of club-based learning and countywide project opportunities. As of 2025, the program includes hundreds of youth members and dozens of adult volunteers involved in diverse areas from agriculture to technology.
