Minutes into the new day, Keith Smith, 42, went down on Lake Tahoe Boulevard for public drunkenness, no bail set.
Close behind, Mariana Viducich, 29, was collared at Red Hawk Casino on a shoplifting burglary rap, held without bail.
By 2 a.m., Michael Mott, 36, faced probation violation and disorderly conduct charges after a scrape on South Lake Tahoe Boulevard.
Before dawn broke, Austin Benjamin, 27, was booked at Red Hawk for a felony PRCS violation, no bail.
Midday saw Vanessa Carter, 34, pulled from Washoe County Jail on a DUI and a bench warrant, bail $5,000.
The afternoon darkened—Robert Cravenbarrett, 41, arrested in El Dorado Hills for DUI and assault with a firearm, bail $5,000, and Christopher Larkin, 39, charged with violent civil rights violations and assault with a deadly weapon, bail $103,000.
The day closed with three more DUI collars: Eddy Ortizeugarrios, 35, Devin Reed, 31, and Paul Lynfoot, 47, each facing charges from Tahoe streets to county highways.
