Police made several custodial arrests overnight and into the evening across residential addresses and commercial corridors. A DUI arrest was logged on Lake Tahoe Boulevard shortly after midnight. Later in the morning, officers booked a felony domestic violence case tied to a Dick Lake Road address. By nightfall, a disturbance on Julie Lane escalated into multiple misdemeanor charges, including battery, weapons exhibition, probation violation, and child endangerment. All suspects were booked into custody pending court proceedings.
Highway 50 Corridor
A predawn traffic stop on Highway 50 turned into a major narcotics case. Two suspects were arrested on felony conspiracy and drug transportation-for-sale charges, with bail set at a combined $450,000. Investigators allege the controlled substances were being moved between counties. Both remained in custody.
Placerville / Forni Road
CHP and county deputies handled multiple vehicle-related arrests near Forni Road. One driver was arrested for driving on a suspended license related to DUI. Later that evening, another motorist was booked on felony DUI charges after a crash reportedly caused bodily injury. Both incidents remain under investigation.
El Dorado Hills
Deputies served a high-bail arrest at a Da Vinci Drive address involving multiple felony and misdemeanor counts. Charges include unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, violation of a domestic violence court order, and vehicle registration forgery. Bail in the case exceeded $600,000.
Countywide / Other Locations
Additional arrests included felony sex offenses against a minor, domestic violence with enhancement allegations, narcotics possession, and drug sales charges at the courthouse. Several suspects were held without bail. All cases are pending review by the District Attorney.
