ARRESTS & Activity Log
The county didn’t bother with pleasantries. At 12:22 a.m., Stephen Henderson was nailed on Hopi Road—dope in his blood, booze in his veins, booked for DUI and drug use. A half hour later, Charlene Clark and Matthew Ang were pinched on Stone Briar Drive, a two-person con with burglary tools, fake IDs, stolen mail, and conspiracy charges. By 2:47 a.m., deputies checked suspicious circumstances in Pollock Pines, the first of many calls that would pile up.
At 3:29 a.m., Braulio Ramirez, a felon, was stopped on Missouri Flat, carrying a loaded gun, another stashed in his car, and narcotics paraphernalia—bail set at $100,000. Minutes later, repo men were busy across El Dorado Hills, Rescue, and Georgetown, with deputies logging papers. By 5:56 a.m., a man was brandishing something ugly outside a Starbucks in Cameron Park—gone on arrival when deputies rolled up.
The morning gathered steam. Suspicious cars, loiterers, and trespassers popped up at an auto parts store, a brewery, and an animal hospital. At 8:32 a.m., a Placerville resident reported identity theft. By 8:41 a.m., another cried grand theft on Corina Street. South Tahoe deputies collared Elsa Orozcocastillo at 8:00 a.m. for drunk driving, just as calls poured in from Camino, El Dorado Hills, and Diamond Springs about prowlers, suspicious vehicles, and theft.
Midmorning, a burglary was reported at Freedom Church in Shingle Springs. By 11:24 a.m., casino staff flagged a grand theft at Red Hawk. At 11:27, vandalism flared on Five Mile Road. Minutes later, a school in Somerset called in a battery, followed by a court order violation in Cameron Park. Meanwhile, Patrick Jordan was being booked in Placerville on contractor fraud charges—phony license, down payments he wasn’t owed, and a fraudulent pitch that cost him a felony.
Noontime wasn’t quiet. A rash of information exchanges, ordinance violations, and a burglary to a vehicle at Snap Fitness stacked the log. At 12:22 p.m., Maria Ruiz was transported from Washoe County Jail—charged in El Dorado with felony embezzlement. At 12:41 p.m., a car was cracked at Snap Fitness in Shingle Springs. The afternoon brought verbal disputes in Georgetown, suspicious characters at Walmart, and a burglary at Green Valley Elementary.
By 2:00 p.m., Michael Smith was booked on narcotics possession in South Lake Tahoe. Half an hour later, civil disputes and suspicious calls kept deputies chasing shadows. At 2:46 p.m., a “dead person” call hit Crystal Boulevard, deputies taking the grim report. Another death report came at 9:04 p.m. on Airport Road in Placerville.
The evening turned mean. At 5:38 p.m., Placerville officers picked up Troy Oharran, busted on probation violation and accused of hurling objects at cars. By 8:30 p.m., the worst of it: Andrew Chavez in El Dorado Hills, arrested on felony domestic violence after allegedly injuring a partner—$50,000 bail slapped on.
The night wound down with trespassers, repo jobs, lost property, and suspicious cars circling back in Cameron Park and Camino. At 11:47 p.m., deputies hunted a suspicious subject at a gas station in El Dorado Hills—never found. The day closed the same as it began: the county wide awake, restless, and reminding anyone listening that crime doesn’t keep business hours.
