(INEDC) El Dorado County Sheriff ARRESTS PLACERVILLE, CALIFORNIA Sept 20 2025
Bruce Miles Benton, 52, found on Lake Tahoe Boulevard, was picked up by South Lake Tahoe police for a felony parole violation just before midnight. Minutes earlier, Richard Dustin Short, 36, at the same address, was arrested on a felony probation violation. Deputies then moved on Perks Court, where Cassidy Kenneth Bathurst, 29, was hauled in for probation violations, possession of ammunition, and an enhancement tacked on, bail set at $100,000.
At Highway 50 near Huckleberry Heights, Aaron Joseph Ramirez, 34, was booked by CHP on a felony charge of inflicting corporal injury in a domestic case, bond $50,000. Shortly after, Placerville officers arrested Joshua David Hester, 31, on Schnell School Road for misdemeanor battery and felony resisting arrest, bail $30,000.
By mid-afternoon, Anthony Gabriel Munoz, 27, was delivered into custody from Churchill County on a felony narcotics transport charge between counties, bail $75,000. In the evening, Placerville police booked Arturo Bonifacio Romo, 40, off Spring Street for driving on a license suspended from DUI, bond stacked to $55,000.
Later, Shingle Springs police put Lingxin Liu, 44, in custody at Redhawk Parkway for misdemeanor battery in a domestic setting, bail $7,500. Closing the night, South Lake Tahoe officers picked up Matthew Jonathan Grover, 38, on Park Avenue, drunk and disorderly, held without bail.
