Filed with two finger typing, cigarette smoke curling toward a flickering monitor. Another day in the Sierra Foothills.
The day kicked off before dawn with a suspicious subject on El Dorado Hills Blvd that ended in handcuffs.
Just two minutes later, a brandishing report in Camino sent deputies racing—weapon flashed, no shots fired.
Trespassers showed up early and often, from Walmart on Missouri Flat to Chevron in Camino, some cuffed, some just warned.
Two bodies turned up—one at Studio 6 in Cameron Park, another at Tahoe Verde in South Lake—both declared dead, investigations pending.
Identity theft, vehicle burglaries, and court order violations peppered the late morning, with South County and the Basin sharing the burden.
At Crystal Basin, a third body was found near the Info Center in the woods—a grim tally for a Monday.
By sundown, El Dorado Hills lit up the wire with verbal dustups, domestic violence calls, and suspicious wheels in motion.
From civil squabbles and vandalism to noise complaints at Lake Forest Apartments, the log reads like a Foothill noir—quiet streets, loud troubles.
