Sheriff’s Blotter — Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2025
Deputies worked the graveyard shift hard, starting just after midnight in Cameron Park with a suspicious car at Moonraker Millhouse Brewing — driver warned and moved on. A battery call broke the quiet minutes later at Ponte Palmero, where deputies assisted staff. By dawn, the radio lit with disturbances: shouting matches on Bonanza Auto Road in Shingle Springs, a trespass on Sierra Vista Road in Rescue, and more suspicious activity called in from Placerville.
Through the morning hours, deputies logged identity theft reports across the county, from Moonshine Hill Road in Placerville to Bear Creek Road in Garden Valley. By midday, more theft calls piled on, this time Cameron Park Drive and Crestview Mobile Home Park. Vandalism got attention in El Dorado Hills and again in Rescue’s Glenview Apartments, reports taken both times.
The afternoon brought civil squabbles, harassment reports, and verbal fights — deputies assisted where they could. By 5:20 p.m., a burglary in Pollock Pines was logged, while deputies kept busy chasing trespassers in Rescue and suspicious subjects near schools in Pollock Pines. Evening hours turned to noise — shouting matches at Union 76 in El Dorado Hills, Cameron Oaks Apartments in Cameron Park, and Ghost Mountain Ranch. Deputies arrived to find things calmed or parties gone.
Night patrol wrapped with more suspicious cars — one at McDonald’s in Cameron Park, another at the Quik Stop in Diamond Springs, and a last stop on Jacquier Road in Placerville. All advised, no arrests.
