Sheriff’s ACTIVITY Log – Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2025
Deputies started the day with a call of suspicious activity at Red Hawk Casino around 2:35 a.m., followed by a loiterer at Starbucks in El Dorado Hills just after 4:30. By sunrise, noise complaints rattled Senegal Way, and a suspicious man was gone before deputies arrived on Highway 49. At 7:10, vandalism was reported at Marina Village School; fifteen minutes later, a suspicious vehicle sat idle at T.J. Maxx on Missouri Flat. By 8 a.m., things turned heavy: identity theft on Yucca Drive, a suspicious suspect collared in Town Center, and a battery reported at John Adams Academy. The mid-morning hours stacked up with court order violations in Shingle Springs and Placerville, a harassment complaint in Somerset, and trespass at Cameron Ridge Apartments that ended in arrest. Trouble rolled into the afternoon: another battery on Cutaway Lane with an arrest, harassment at Brooks School, verbal clashes in Shingle Springs and Placerville, and vandalism in Cameron Park. By nightfall, deputies were stopping suspicious vehicles at Quik Stop and 7-Eleven, chasing loiterers at the Georgetown Hotel and Quality Inn, and clearing calls from Pollock Pines to South Lake Tahoe. The day closed at 11:39 p.m. with one last vehicle stop at Safeway on Missouri Flat—advised and done.
