Deputies on Durock Road arrested Douglas Joseph Sichmeller on felony charges tied to alleged injury of an elder or dependent adult, with bail set at $100,000. Investigators added a bail enhancement, signaling the seriousness of the allegations and the risk assessment behind them. In a separate case, Sierra Ann Crum was taken into custody on a felony assault with a deadly weapon charge, stemming from an incident reported in Chowchilla. Later that evening, South Lake Tahoe police arrested Jovina Patricia Le Ann Salas on Julie Boulevard for misdemeanor disorderly conduct involving drugs and alcohol.
